Are you looking for something fun to do without having to purchase a theme park ticket? Maybe something to do on your "rest day" or after a short day at the parks?
How about a bar crawl?! But not your everyday bar crawl - a Disney bar crawl! Here are some of our favorites:
MONORAIL CRAWL – There are several great lounges at your Monorail Resorts!
Contemporary:
Looking for some great appetizers with your beverage – try Steakhouse 71.
Visit the Outer Rim and catch a glimpse of the nightly electrical parade on Bay Lake from the beautiful floor to ceiling windows.
Not the easiest lounge to get into, but the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary has amazing views and if you get lucky you can even catch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.
Polynesian:
The Tambu Lounge offers many of the same appetizers from the very popular O’Hana plus, lots of fun tropical cocktails.
If you just want a sweet treat with an adult twist – grab a Dole Whip with a shot downstairs at the Pineapple Lanai.
You might have to wait to get in, but a popular and unique lounge is Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. The entire lounge gets into the act when someone orders one of their house specialties!
If you want more of a tropical breeze and some ukulele music with your adult beverage – head out to Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace.
The Grand Floridian:
The Enchanted Rose offers a step into Beauty and the Beast as you enjoy fancy cocktails and an array of light appetizers including a charcuterie board.
You can also head over to the lounge at Citrico’s on the water for drinks and small plates.
BAY LAKE BOAT CRAWL – the above Monorail resorts are also on this boat crawl – but you get to add…
Wilderness Lodge:
The Territory Lounge is a fun, rustic, gastro pub (and you might even catch a glimpse of the Evil Queen heading into Artist Point).
Fort Wilderness Cabins and Campgrounds:
Visit Crocket’s Tavern and get yourself a Moonshine Cocktail Flight! If you time it right, you could even join the campfire sing-along and toast s’mores!
SKY LINER CRAWL (if timed right you can often see Epcot’s fireworks from the SkyLiner!)
Art of Animation:
Here you will be visiting The Drop Off pool bar – casual but fun and you can often catch some of your favorite Disney movies by the pool! (We recommend getting a soft pretzel with cheese and a Seafoam Refresher!)
Pop Century:
Petals Pool Bar – another casual pool bar, but an easy walk to and from the SkyLiner and a great chance to explore some of the other resorts.
Caribbean Beach:
Here you have the Cabana Banana Pool Bar – more appetizers and some fun tropical cocktails. (As we step up to the Moderate resorts, the lounges get more interesting.)
Riviera:
Now we can venture to the top of the tower for some beautiful views while enjoying a cocktail at Topolino’s Terrace. Grab a seat at the bar or a high-top table and if you time it just right you can see Epcot’s fireworks show!
Or venture to the library-inspired Voyageurs’ Lounge – a hidden gem paying tribute to Walt Disney’s history. You can grab delicious appetizers at both places along with specialty cocktails.
If you are feeling a little more casual – stop by the open-air pool bar Bar Riva and grab some light appetizers or frozen specialty drinks.
BoardWalk Area (we recommend ending here!)
Abracadabar, formerly a spot where famous magicians would meet after shows trying to out-charm each other, now brought back to life! Notice the pictures change, look for hidden messages on the walls, and enjoy a little magic.
JellyRolls - a dueling piano bar and a great way to end the evening. Enjoy the amazing talent of 2 different performers going head to head ($ - there is a cover charge here).
Boardwalk Villas – as you stroll through the resorts on the boardwalk, stop into the Villas and check out the low-key Belle Vue Lounge.
Yacht Club Resort’s Crew’s Cup Lounge – the lounge near the restaurant. You can enjoy most of the food from the restaurant as well as your favorite blended cocktails.
Beach Club Resort
The Ale & Compass Lounge – This is also attached to the restaurant of the same name. Good appetizers and great drinks.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop - get a spiked milkshake or a sundae to-go (and maybe some fries, they’re just so good).
Swan & Dolphin
You can catch some sports while grabbing a drink at Shula’s Lounge.
You can also visit Phins, a contemporary lounge in the lobby of the Dolphin.
